iReconstitution Steps

  1. 1
PreparationSwab the top of the 20mg Bronchogen vial and the BAC water vial with an alcohol prep pad. Let dry completely.
  2. 2
Draw WaterUsing a large mixing syringe, draw exactly 2 mL of Bacteriostatic Water.
  3. 3
ReconstituteSlowly inject the water into the Bronchogen vial. Aim for the side of the glass, not directly onto the powder to prevent damage.
  4. 4
Mix GentlyGently swirl the vial in a circular motion until the powder is completely dissolved. Do not shake.
  5. 5
Draw DoseFor your desired dose of 500mcg, draw 5.0 units on a U-100 insulin syringe.
  6. 6
StorageRefrigerate reconstituted peptides immediately. A reconstituted vial is typically good for 30 days before it starts destabilizing.
